After flying high against Memorial  last Monday, Lowellville came back down to earth. The Rockets lost  13-3 to the Springfield Tigers on Wednesday. The Rockets haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

 Lowellville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Geno Perry, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. Perry has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times he's  played. Another  was  Cody Nolfi, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  RBI.
Lowellville now  has a losing record of 3-4. As for Springfield,  the  victory  got them back to even at 3-3.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lowellville will head out to  take on Waterloo  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Springfield, they will venture away from home to  challenge Girard  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Indians will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
