The City View Mustangs lost against the Nocona Indians last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. City View fell 59-46 to Nocona. City View has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nia Jefferson, who scored 10 points. Jefferson hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Emarei Brandon, who scored 7 points along with 12 rebounds.
City View has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Nocona, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
City View's road trip will continue as they head out to face Decatur at 2:30 p.m. on November 21st. Decatur will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. As for Nocona, they will face off against Trinity at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
