After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bethel, the Harrah Panthers were happy to have found some success on Friday. They escaped with a win against McLoud by the margin of a single free throw, 57-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Harrah found their leader in underclassman Sayler Eaton, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brenna Catrambone, who scored ten points.
Harrah is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for McLoud, they bumped their record down to 8-5 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Harrah the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Harding Fine Arts at 6:30 p.m. on January 16th. McLoud will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jones at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
