The biggest upset of the week belonged to Gahr, who took down 414th ranked Gahr, 31-3.
Dominguez moved up to 489 from 542 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in San Gabriel Valley. The Dons climbed the ranks as a result of topping the Gladiators 31-3.
Downey's dynamic duo of Jorge Reyna and Jeremy Villa proved tough for Paramount to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Reyna threw for 161 yards and two touchdowns and Villa had 104 yards receiving. Jacob Cook helped Downey's passing attack out by catching three balls for 22 yards.
Alex Turner was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 125 yards on 21 carries as the Pirates lost to the Pirates. Teammate Deonte Dixon added to the ground attack by rushing for 70 yards.
Gahr's Caleb Baumann and Christian Pabico have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Baumann has thrown for 2038 yards this season, while Pabico, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 32 catches for 657 yards. Downey's Justin Huff leads the league in rushing yards with 1119.
A big matchup in San Gabriel Valley this week will be when Jack Williams' team takes on Dominguez. As it stands, the Vikings are in second, while Keith Donerson's team is in third.
Paramount extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Downey, 21-17. The victory was the seventh in a row for Matt Howard's team.
