Baseball Recap: Dale County Has No Trouble Against Geneva

Dale County not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 21st. They blew past the Geneva Panthers 17-10. Considering the Warriors have won eight games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Dale County and bumps their season record up to 15-10. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Geneva, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dale County will square off against Houston Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Geneva, they will challenge New Brockton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Gamecocks will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
