The Rolla Pirates lost against the Minneola Wildcats back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Rolla was outmatched by Minneola on the road and fell 52-24.
Minneola's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braegen Shelor, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Shelor has scored at least 25% of Minneola's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maiya Shelor, who scored 16 points along with 3 steals.
Rolla now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Minneola, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rolla will take on Moscow at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Minneola, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Gray on Tuesday.
