The Halls Red Devils will venture away from home to take on the Morristown-Hamblen West Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Friday, everything came up roses for Halls against Knoxville Central as the squad secured a 40-3 victory.
Halls didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Brody Rogers and Manny Noe. Noe also set a new season high mark in total tackles with six. Dom Culp was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making 17 total tackles (4.0 for loss).

They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Cocke County 48-8. Camren Richards was his usual excellent self, rushing for 210 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, while also catching a touchdown. His longest rush was for an incredible 84 yards. Malachi Monroe was another major influence, as he rushed for 142 yards and ran in a TD.
Morristown-Hamblen West was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 372 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Morristown-Hamblen West's defense and their five sacks. Cary (CJ) Steward was especially locked on to Cocke County's QB and sacked him twice.
Morristown-Hamblen West's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-5. Those victories were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.0 points per game. As for Halls, their record now sits at 7-3.
