The Ann Sobrato Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Willow Glen Rams at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Ann Sobrato will be strutting in after a victory while Willow Glen will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Ann Sobrato really took it to Mt. Pleasant for the full four quarters, racking up a 48-6 victory on the road. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-0.
Noah Taylor continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 284 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries. Taylor was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 60 yards. Ryan Hankins also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Willow Glen unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 17-7 to Leigh.
Ann Sobrato now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Willow Glen, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
Everything came up roses for Ann Sobrato against Willow Glen in their previous matchup back in October of 2021 as the squad secured a 36-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ann Sobrato since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
