Carbon entered their tilt with Emery on Thursday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Spartans. Considering Carbon have won nine matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Emery from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Malia Smith led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Carbon's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Emery, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-4.
