Webutuck is 0-10 against Dover since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Webutuck Warriors will be home for the holidays to greet the Dover Dragons at 6:00 p.m. Webutuck comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Webutuck pushed their score all the way to 60 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 75-60 bruising from Pine Plains.
Meanwhile, Dover might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Mount Academy an easy 75-52 victory. Dover was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-22.
Justin Cardwell put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Caden Green, who scored 11 points.
Webutuck's defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-5. As for Dover, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Webutuck lost to Dover at home by a decisive 87-69 margin in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can Webutuck avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
