Highlands Ranch put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the West Linn Lions, sneaking past 57-54.

Highlands Ranch was led to victory by Jayda Rogers and Ezra Simonich. Rogers went 8 of 10 on her way to 20 points and six rebounds, while Simonich went 7 of 16 on her way to 18 points along with five boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tori Baker, who posted five points and five rebounds.

Highlands Ranch smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in five consecutive matchups.

Despite the loss, West Linn still got an impressive performance from Reese Jordan, who went 6 of 10 on her way to 17 points and six rebounds. Jordan's evening made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylor Buse, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Highlands Ranch's record is now 8-0. As for West Linn, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2.

Highlands Ranch wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 61-32 victory against Skyridge on the 21st. As for West Linn, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-32 loss against Mesquite on the 21st.
