Questa won the last time they faced McCurdy, and Alyse Lovato did her part to make sure it happened again. The Questa Wildcats secured a 48-43 W over the McCurdy Bobcats on Tuesday thanks to Lovato, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and ten boards. She has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 18 times she's played.

Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mariana Arambula, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Arambula a new career-high in shooting accuracy (67%). Alyanna Chavez was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and ten boards.

Questa has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points over those games. McCurdy's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10.

Questa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 55-51 win against Penasco on the 22nd. As for McCurdy, they have also already played their next game, a 47-23 victory against Escalante on the 22nd.
