The Grand County Red Devils's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against North Sevier by a score of 46-36. For Grand County, this counts as revenge for the 45-38 defeat North Sevier walked away with the last time they faced one another on January 6th.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grand County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cadence Kasprick, who scored 13 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Trinity Bryant, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Grand County's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for North Sevier, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.
Grand County on the road again on Saturday and play against Gunnison Valley at 2:00 p.m. on January 27th. Hopefully Gunnison Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday. As for North Sevier, they will be playing in front of their home fans against San Juan at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (San Juan is ranked 110th, while North Sevier is ranked 87th).
