Scott is 9-1 against Cimarron since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Scott Beavers will head out on the road to face off against the Cimarron Bluejays at 8:00 p.m. Scott is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
Last Saturday, Scott humbled La Junta with a 67-28 victory. Given Scott's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 26th in Kansas, while La Junta is ranked 247th in Colorado), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Sage Stoecklein continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Another player making a difference was Jackson Rumford, who scored 9 points along with 7 assists and 5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Cimarron suffered a tough 55-35 defeat at the hands of Pawhuska on Saturday.
Scott's victory lifted them to 4-0 while La Junta's defeat dropped them down to 1-4.
Everything came up roses for Scott against Cimarron when the teams last played back in January as the squad secured a 65-31 win. Does Scott have another victory up their sleeve, or will Cimarron turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
