Abby McManus put in work no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one double.
McManus wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Mia Braddock, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.
