Section 6 Freelance recap Oct. 3, 2012
Adam Noonan of Nichols ran for the longest rushing play in Section 6 Freelance this season against Finney/Northstar Christian Academy last week. Noonan's team defeated the Falcons as he sprinted for 71 yards on the play and finished with 243 in all.
Nichols took down Finney/Northstar Christian Academy 37-20 last week, the largest margin of any game. Noonan in the win.
Colin Brinson's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Liam Ryan threw for three yards and Jordan Tyson had three yards receiving.
Nichols' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Vikings feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ryan has thrown for 324 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Noonan has seven catches for 180 yards. Noonan leads the league in rushing with 781 yards.
The Vikings led the league in scoring this week after putting up 37 points on the Falcons. Noonan in the win.
