Gallia Academy put another one in the bag  on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Vinton County Vikings with a sharp  3-0 win. For the Blue Devils, this counts as revenge for the   3-2 victory the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in October of 2020.
 One reason for the win was Gallia Academy's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18,  25-17.
Gallia Academy found their leader in sophomore  Ari Rice, who  had nine  digs and three  aces.
 Gallia Academy  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 19  aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Vinton County didn't  served any.
Gallia Academy's record is now 23-0. As for Vinton County, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record  this season.
 Gallia Academy has already played their next contest,  a  3-2  win against Logan Elm on the 22nd. Vinton County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
