They walked away with a 39-30 win over Stansbury. This was payback for Jordan, who suffered a 52-48 loss the last time these two teams met.
Jordan got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tess Jacobson out in front who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Claire Todacheeny, who scored seven points.
Jordan has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season. As for Stansbury, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jordan will square off against Murray at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Murray is ranked 69th, while Jordan is ranked 82nd). As for Stansbury, they will head out on the road to square off against Cottonwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cottonwood will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
