Brookhaven had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it last Friday as the squad lost 33-34 to Natchez. Brookhaven's loss came about despite a quality game from junior Jaquarius Edwards, who rushed for 90 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Wingfield, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to nine. They came up short against Forest Hill, falling 8-22.
Everything came up roses for Brookhaven against Wingfield the last time the two teams met as the team secured a 48-12 victory. Will Brookhaven repeat their success, or does Wingfield have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
