The Raymond Seagulls scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took down Willapa Valley 72-53. With that win, Raymond brought their scoring average up to 51 points per game.
Leading Raymond to victory were Austin Snodgrass and Christopher Quintana. Snodgrass scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and five assists, while Quintana scored 22 points along with six assists and six rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Quintana has scored at least 25% of Raymond's points. Talan Yearout was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds.
Raymond's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.8 points per game. As for Willapa Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
Raymond has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Muckleshoot Tribal at 5:30 p.m. on December 28th. Muckleshoot Tribal knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Raymond likes a good challenge. Willapa Valley and King's Way Christian will round out the year against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Friday at.
