The Riverside Bulldogs lost against the North Side Gators back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Riverside was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 48-47 to North Side. Riverside has not had much luck with North Side recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Riverside lost, one person who can't be blamed is Aaron Stewart. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points and 2 assists. The game was Stewart's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Jordan Wilson was another key contributor, scoring five points along with ten rebounds.
Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for North Side, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-8.
Riverside will take on O'Bannon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Side, they will head out on the road to face off against Leflore County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Leflore County will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
