Mataya Hall was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 25 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Nalani Gouyd , who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Nathan Hale's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a serious blow against Rock Creek, falling 79-26.
Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Nathan Hale, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
Everything came up roses for Memorial against Nathan Hale in their previous matchup back in February as the squad secured a 65-20 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Memorial since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
