The Meadows School Mustangs will take on the Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Meadows School is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.
On Wednesday, The Meadows School sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 win over Sports Leadership & Management. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Bulls: they've now won four in a row.

The team relied heavily on Hudson Falb, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for The Meadows School: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 8-12 otherwise. Carson Rinetti was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Meanwhile, Mater Academy East Las Vegas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to Bonanza.
Mater Academy East Las Vegas saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christopher Flores, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.
The Meadows School pushed their record up to 17-12 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Mater Academy East Las Vegas, their loss dropped their record down to 14-11.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. The Meadows School has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Mater Academy East Las Vegas struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
The Meadows School took their win against Mater Academy East Las Vegas when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 10-0 score. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
