After soaring to 80 points the game before, St. Joseph Regional were a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They were dealt a 62-24 loss at the hands of Don Bosco Prep. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points St. Joseph Regional has scored all season.
St. Joseph Regional's defeat came about despite a quality game from Anthony Pacciarelli, who scored four points.
Meanwhile, DePaul Catholic pushed their score all the way to 66 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 73-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of Paramus Catholic. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (58), DePaul Catholic still had to take the loss.
St. Joseph Regional's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5. As for DePaul Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.
St. Joseph Regional strolled past the Spartans in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 59-40. Does St. Joseph Regional have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
