Basketball Recap: Caden Andreas' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Ridgeline over Chiawana

Ridgeline played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Chiawana Riverhawks, falling 83-59. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 221st, while the Riverhawks are ranked 19th).

Ridgeline lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Caden Andreas, who went 7 for 17 on his way to 18 points and seven rebounds. The match was Andreas' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayden Pulsipher, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 16 points and six rebounds.

Ridgeline dropped their record down to 3-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Chiawana, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Ridgeline didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-46 loss against Kamiakin on the 28th. As for Chiawana, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 74-52 victory against Lewis & Clark on the 28th.
