On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Bryant beat Germantown 46-41.
Several Mavericks players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alana Rouser, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Rouser hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Micaiah Satcher, who scored 13 points.
Bryant's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Germantown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bryant will play host again and welcome Sylvan Hills, where tip off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Germantown, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Parkway at 3:00 p.m.
