A Season-Best Effort from Haydon Hutzell Leads Berlin Brothersvalley over North Star
On Friday, Berlin Brothersvalley got the W thanks in part to Haydon Hutzell playing the best football he has all season. Hutzell picked up 185 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 31 yards. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 86 yards.
For the year, Hutzell has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 52.2 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 18.75 receiving yards per game.

Big Game from Harman As Everett Fell 28-27
Everett was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Jakobe Harman did his best to prevent it. Harman turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 245 yards and two touchdowns.
Harman is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Claysburg-Kimmel on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Harman saw the Bulldogs), he rushed for 149 yards.

Spencer Whitfield Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Spencer Whitfield posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. He has become a key player for Meyersdale: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.
Meyersdale now has a winning record of 5-4. They and Mount Union are set to duel on Friday.
