Jack Cassidy posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off eight hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Cassidy's strong effort led St. Joseph over Pleasantville and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are a perfect 10-0 against the Greyhounds going back to May of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
