Freeport never let their opponents score on Thursday. They blew past the Booker T. Washington Wildcats 6-0. Considering the Bulldogs have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Niles King III, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Darrow, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Freeport has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. Booker T. Washington is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Coming up, Freeport will challenge South Sumter at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Booker T. Washington, they will take on Bixby in a tournament on Monday.
