The Eastern Christian HomeSchool Trailblazers put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They managed a 67-62 victory over Albemarle School. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Kaylee Ange was her usual excellent self, scoring 31 points. The contest was her tenth in a row with at least ten points. Bre Ange was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Albemarle School's loss came despite strong showings from Madelyn Delosreyes and Addison Delosreyes. Delosreyes scored 24 points along with six assists and five steals, while Delosreyes scored 20 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Delosreyes scored a full 38.7% of Albemarle School's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Eastern Christian HomeSchool pushed their record up to 14-0 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Albemarle School, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.
Eastern Christian HomeSchool will be home for the holidays to greet Terra Ceia Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Terra Ceia Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 522nd, while Eastern Christian HomeSchool is ranked 64th). Albemarle School will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Manteo at 11:00 a.m. on December 28th.
