The biggest upset of the week belonged to Lyons, who defeated 51st ranked Hillsboro, 26-12.
Smoky Valley's Matt Guerrero rumbled for the longest rushing play in Central Kansas this season in his game against Sterling last week. Guerrero ran for 63 yards on the play and finished with 141 on the day as his team topped the Black Bears.
Hesston's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Wyatt McKinney threw for 251 yards and Grant Raleigh had 102 yards receiving. On the ground Ryan Schadler chipped in 172 yards. Justin Smith helped Hesston's passing attack out by catching 6 balls for 84 yards.
