On Thursday, Ocean View Christian was beaten by Foothills Christian 75-42.
Foothills Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Andrew Burke out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 20 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Khalil Bean, who scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds.
Ocean View Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Foothills Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Ocean View Christian's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Mountain Empire at 4:30 p.m. on December 13th. Foothills Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face El Capitan at 6:30 p.m. on December 8th. El Capitan knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Foothills Christian likes a good challenge.
