Alex Adler and Joe Brown provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Satellite. The connection was good for 71 yards, the longest such play in 5A District 13 this season.
Merritt Island extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Titusville, 38-0. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Mustangs.
Adler and Adler gave Rockledge a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Adler threw for 71 yards and one touchdown, while Adler ran for 35 yards. Teammate Justin Weaver added to the ground attack by rushing for 21 yards.
Rockledge's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Raiders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Adler has thrown for 269 yards and three touchdowns this season, while Justin Crapps has two catches for 70 yards. Weaver leads the league in rushing with 114 yards.
The Raiders moved up to 160 from 247 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 5A District 13. Rockledge was able to make the jump by beating the Scorpions 20-7.
