Make it six blowout wins for the Linfield Christian Lions this season. Everything went their way against Ontario Christian on Friday as Linfield Christian made off with a 74-50 win. The victory was some much needed relief for Linfield Christian as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Linfield Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Julius Brower, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Cox, who went 7 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 23 points and 1 assist.
Despite the loss, Ontario Christian still got an impressive performance from Cole Jones, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Max Ma, who scored 13 points.
Linfield Christian's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Ontario Christian, they bumped their record down to 13-7 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Linfield Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Roosevelt at 7:30 p.m. on January 13th.
