After low-scoring totals in their previous three matchup, Veritas School brought some dynamite into their most recent game. Their defense stepped up to hand the Cristo Rey Royals a 9-0 shutout on Monday. The result was nothing new for Veritas School, who have now won eight contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Veritas School's win bumped their record up to 11-3-4. As for Cristo Rey, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Veritas School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cristo Rey, they will head out to challenge St. Margaret's at 5:00 p.m. on May 7.
