Baseball Recap: Okarche Extends Winning Streak to Five

While Okarche put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Calumet. The Warriors were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Chieftains. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won six matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Okarche's fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-3. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Calumet, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-1.

Looking ahead, Okarche will be playing in front of their home fans against Weatherford at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Warriors have won four straight at home, while the Eagles won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change. Calumet has already played their next game (against Asher), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
