The Design Tech Dragons kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a serious blow against South San Francisco, falling 62-24. Design Tech lost against South San Francisco in their previous head to head back in December of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 54-24 score last time.
Design Tech's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nabhan Singh, who scored 8 points.
Design Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for South San Francisco, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Design Tech will head out on the road to face off against Kehillah at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for South San Francisco, they will face off against Galileo at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
