The Wrightstown Tigers and the Aquinas Blugolds squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but sadly the Wrightstown Tigers had to settle for second. Wrightstown lost to Aquinas on the road by a decisive 32-13 margin. Wrightstown's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Kyle White was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 240 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. White was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 59 yards. Another player making a difference was Brady Lehnherr, who rushed for 48 yards and two touchdowns.
Wrightstown's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Aquinas, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.
Wrightstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Aquinas also has no future games currently scheduled.
