After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Pocatello, Ridgevue was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past the Moscow Bears  8-7.
  Jameson Deitz made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  pitched four innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   six  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks). Deitz was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-2 with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Izaiah Stewart-Kasper was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.  Keegan Randall was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 On Moscow's side,  Levi Anderson was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  JP Breese, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Ridgevue's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Moscow, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgevue will play host again  on Thursday to welcome Columbia, where first pitch is scheduled  at 4:00  p.m. As for Moscow, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Post Falls at 3:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Moscow's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4  runs per game  this season, so Post Falls' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
