Meanwhile, Superior came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 46 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Arlee 60-14 on the road. 60 seems to be a good number for the Bobcats as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Superior found their leader in underclassman Landon Richards, who threw for 329 yards and six touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 37 yards. Those 329 passing yards set a new season-high mark for Richards. Trizten Avila was Richards' top target, picking up 134 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
