Even though the Foss Falcons scored an imposing 60 points on Saturday, the Silas Rams still came out on top. Silas took their game against Foss 68-60. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Silas also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2020.
Silas' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Albert Kopec, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was LaMarcus Hinton, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds.
The victory got Silas back to even at 2-2. As for Foss, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Silas will be home for the holidays to greet Bellarmine Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bellarmine Prep is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. Foss will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cleveland at 6:00 p.m. on December 28th.
