On Saturday, Southern Missouri RUSH didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Climax Springs, but they still walked away with a 35-31 win.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Southern Missouri RUSH to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lillian Mindeman, who scored 9 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Mindeman has scored at least 25% of Southern Missouri RUSH's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Addie Sims, who scored 10 points.
Southern Missouri RUSH has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Climax Springs, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southern Missouri RUSH's road trip will continue as they head out to face Norwood at 6:00 p.m. on December 18th. Climax Springs will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Macks Creek at 5:30 p.m. on January 16, 2024.
