The Moon Valley Rockets lost against the Deer Valley Skyhawks back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Moon Valley took a hard 69-52 fall against Deer Valley. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Moon Valley in their matchups with Deer Valley: they've now lost four in a row.
Several Rockets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Kevin Gray was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.

Moon Valley won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Goldwater at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th. Hopefully Goldwater focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Monday. Deer Valley will take on Sheldon in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Monday at. Sheldon will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 198th in California, while Deer Valley is ranked fourth in Arizona).
