Baseball Recap: Seneca Sets Scoring Season-High Against Winslow Township

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Seneca). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Winslow Township Eagles an 11-0 shutout on Thursday. The Golden Eagles not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since May 14, 2024.

Alex Kerr looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Lester Hann, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Those runs marked the first that he scored this season. Alex Argabright was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Seneca's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Winslow Township, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Seneca will challenge Bishop Eustace Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Winslow Township, they will host Moorestown at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
