Luck have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Frederic on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Frederic will need to watch out since Luck have now posted big point totals in their last five contests.
Two weeks ago, Luck faced Siren in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Luck were fully in charge, breezing past Siren 64-23. Followers of Luck probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
Meanwhile, everything went Frederic's way against New Auburn last Friday as they made off with a 36-8 victory. Frederic were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Their wins bumped Frederic to 2-3 and Luck to 5-0. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
