Highland extended their home winning streak to nine games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Camryn Thruston. The Hawks blew past the Williams Field Black Hawks 3-0 on Thursday with plenty of help from Thruston, who had 16 digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played.
The win didn't come easy: Williams Field scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-18, 26-24.
