Fremont was the 3-0 winner over Gunn when they last played one another on April 4th, but their luck changed this time around. The Firebirds fell just short of the Titans by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Firebirds' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Fremont took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 22-25, 22-25, 25-14, 15-9.

Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Gunn, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Fremont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Wilcox on the 25th. As for Gunn, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Mountain View on the 24th.
