Sunset Park took a nine-run defeat the last time they faced off against Telecommunication Arts Tech, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The HEAT had just enough and edged out the Yellowjackets 15-14 on Friday. Those 15 runs were actually the fewest the HEAT have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Sunset Park got a massive performance out of Melanea Francisco, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run was Francisco's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Amelia Pena, who scored a run and stole four bases while going 3-for-4.

Sunset Park was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .387 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Sunset Park's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Telecommunication Arts Tech, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
