The Tahoma Bears entered their tilt with the Federal Way Eagles with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Tahoma came out on top against Federal Way by a score of 62-55 on Tuesday. Given Tahoma's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while Federal Way is ranked 96th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Dalton Brown, who scored 25 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Tahoma's points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Stephens, who scored 12 points.
Tahoma pushed their record up to 5-2 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points per game. As for Federal Way, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
Tahoma and Orange Lutheran will round out the year against one another at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at. Federal Way will be home for the holidays to greet Mount Tahoma at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mount Tahoma has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 437 points over their last six contests.
