The Palmyra-Eagle Panthers won the last time they faced the Heritage Christian Patriots, and things went their way on Monday too. Palmyra-Eagle managed a 57-51 victory over Heritage Christian.
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Morgan Bluhm, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals. Bluhm scored a full 25.5% of Heritage Christian's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Sydney Millen, who scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals.
The victory got Palmyra-Eagle back to even at 2-2. As for Heritage Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Palmyra-Eagle will head out on the road to face off against Williams Bay at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Heritage Christian, they will be playing at home against Central Wisconsin Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
